David Hayes is an Ob/Gyn with an academic background and a passion for science and its proper application to clinical medicine. He has worked for Médecins Sans Frontières and trained in critical care obstetrics. Physiologic breech birth and supporting the training of breech birth attendants are particular interests of his. (Dr. Hayes will be teaching the in-person portions of this workshop.)
Rixa Freeze has a PhD from the University of Iowa and is a researcher, professor, and mother of 4 young children. Her current research specialization is vaginal breech birth. She is the founder of Breech Without Borders, a nonprofit dedicated to disseminating knowledge about breech. She blogs at Stand and Deliver.

Will I be staying for the whole day? Yes! This is a full-day workshop.
Do I need to bring anything?If you have a doll & pelvis, please bring them to the workshop so you can follow along and practice as others are doing their simulations. Please come with short fingernails (no pointed tips) and remove all rings before working on the simulator.
You may want to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.
What is your cancellation policy?If you are called away to a birth or family emergency on the day of the simulations and cannot reschedule your simulation time, you will receive a $100 refund and keep your access to Breech Pro. Otherwise tickets are non-refundable but the simulation block can be transferred to another person.

Do you offer CEUs?The workshop is currently approved for 18 contact hours with ACNM, with reciprocity with MEAC, DONA, & ICEA (16 CEs for Breech Pro, 2 CEs for hands-on).
