David Hayes is an Ob/Gyn with an academic background and a passion for science and its proper application to clinical medicine. He has worked for Médecins Sans Frontières and trained in critical care obstetrics. Physiologic breech birth and supporting the training of breech birth attendants are particular interests of his.
Rixa Freeze has a PhD from the University of Iowa and is a researcher, professor, and mother of 4 young children. Her current research specialization is vaginal breech birth. She is the founder of Breech Without Borders, a nonprofit dedicated to breech training, education, and advocacy. She blogs at Stand and Deliver.

Q&A and wrap-up
What is your cancellation policy? If you are called away to a birth or family emergency on the day of the simulations and cannot reschedule your workshop day, you will receive a $100 refund and keep your access to Breech Pro (for the additional simulation training, you will receive a full refund). Otherwise tickets are non-refundable but the simulation block can be transferred to another person.

Do you offer CEUs? The workshop is currently approved for 18 contact hours with ACNM, with reciprocity with MEAC, DONA, & ICEA (16 CE for Breech Pro, 2 CEs for hands-on). We will be renewing our ACNM CEs in early 2023 and plan on expanding our CE hours to a total of 25 for the workshop training package.
